I haven't shared one of the Christmas gifts I got from Michael. (Late late I know!)
A closeup lens (actually a filter), you can find one here.
A substantially less pricey version of a macro lens, this screws onto the thread at the front of your lens, like a normal filter. I don't even take the UV filter off my lens!
Ooh! Can I ask a question... Are these lenses things that are generic for digital cameras, or do you have to get one for your brand of camera? I ask cos I looked into getting a macro lens for my canon a70 and it was sooooooper expensive so I didnlt get one.
Ooooh, looks fab! I've been wanting a macro lens for our canon D-SLR but they are WAY out of my price range. This sounds like just the thing I need. Thanks for the tip! And congrats on the house purchase!
I'm Jessicah and I craft in Papapkura, New Zealand. I try my hand at just about anything in the realm of fibre, fabric and food. Expect sewing, knitting and spinning, quilting embroidery and cooking!
We have just purchased our first home, and are working hard fixing it up. I will be posting lots of before and after shots as we learn some new skills, and make our mark on the house.
