Fibre Friday :: Link Love

Fibre Friday's a bit all over the place today.

Firstly, I'd like to point you in the direction of Nadya's etsy shop. Aren't her brooches amazing? She bought some fibre off me right back when I started selling it, the one I linked to she made with 'my' merino. I think they are so lovely, and though you might like to look at them.
I'd love to see anything you've made with 'my' fibre too- I think the best part of dyeing this fibre is sending out squishy packages, all over the world, to become amazing things, hundreds of things, more than a single person could ever make in their lifetime. That's the magic bit.

A package I sent out recently contained over 50 squishy merino samples, of wee graduated skeins.

It was heading to phatfiber, and the box also included a full sized skein, in 'cherry tree', that's the pink one, to giveaway. I'll let you know when the competition opens. I've been stocking my etsy shop with the graduated fibres, and they are selling like hotcakes! I've got some dyeing to do over the weekend to try and get ahead.

I also wanted to say 'Hi!' and 'Welcome!' to anyone who has found there way to this space lately, especially via phatfiber. It's nice to have you here :)

Sunday is National Alpaca Day, and there's open farms all over the country, I know that Alpaca farmers would love for you to go and visit one near you. I'm going to be at Joyce's place in Bombay (there's a big list on the above website) with my spinning wheel, spinning up some alpaca. I'm really looking forward to it!

And now I'm off to my dyepots. Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
